Enjoy a restful overnight stay in your 5-star hotel in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania, before your adventure begins in the morning.

The Serengeti is one of the world’s most famous national parks, annually hosting the Great Migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra who follow the grass to and from the neighbouring Maasai Mara in Kenya, as well as an incredible variety of wildlife which is resident year-round. Based at one of our favourite camps, with only canvas between you and the wilderness, you’ll explore these epic landscapes on game drives in search of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and more, walk with the elegant Maasai and enjoy some of Africa’s most unforgettable sunsets.

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and a half-day of wildlife viewing. Then, we depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a game drive en route.

This morning, descend into the crater, arriving ahead of most visitors—thanks to your accommodations’ ideal location on the crater’s rim—to view the resident wildlife at its most active.

After that, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your next 1-hour flight to Zanzibar.

Zanzibar is the place to relax on palm-fringed beaches and switch off from the world as dhows sail silently by, enjoying a genuine Indian Ocean paradise where life slows to an East African rhythm—with four nights here, plenty of time to soak up the stunning desert-island scenery – powder-white sands fringed by emerald palms and twisted mangroves – and swim in the shallow turquoise seas bedded with rainbow coral reefs. The air is scented with cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and there’s a rich cultural past and history of spice traders from India and Indonesia.
From Zuri Zanzibar, you will be driven back to Zanzibar Airport, a journey of approximately 30 minutes.
